A concept initiated by Chris Davies at her home in Buckton in the idyllic Welsh Marches on the borders of Herefordshire, Shropshire and Wales, Chrissie’s Kitchen is now the home of ‘Cooking with Taste’ cookery courses.




Chris decided to celebrate and showcase the marvellous food
available in abundance in the Welsh Marches area and as a member
of the Slow Food movement, her style is all about cooking good
food to bring out the best of the freshest available
ingredients, using seasonal and local produce imaginatively,
with flair and skill.
She believes we can all cook for pleasure - and to a budget - to
produce terrific food every day of the week. This does not
equate to fussy, over-elaborate dishes - let’s leave that to the
chefs, if they will.
After a lifetime in the home kitchen, she wants to share her
considerable knowledge of food which, coupled with the ideals of
variety and balance, presentation and technique, results in good
food with lots and lots of taste!
